Everyone always says, “It must be nice.” We bought our house at 21, we’re 25 now with two newer SUVs, three dogs, a motorcycle, and our bills are always paid. And yes, I’m incredibly grateful for everything my husband works so hard to give us. But what people don’t see is what all of that has cost us. I get roughly 40 days a year with my husband. I’m tired of FaceTimes, texts, and trying to do marriage through a phone while we’re states away from each other. He’s my best friend, my other half, and I miss actually getting to do life with him. Truthfully, I would give every bit of it up if it meant having him walk through our front door every night. The house, the vehicles, the motorcycle all of it can be replaced. Time with him can’t. I don’t just want the life he works so hard to provide for us. I want him home to actually live it with me. ❤️

mine is a commercial journeyman electrician and travels on occasions Now but GIRL.... I get you!!! Even when they're home every evening. Such a dangerous, mental and physical job they do!
