@kamelahurley: Sometimes healing begins with something simple: showing up, slowing down, and caring for another living being. 🤍 Healing can come in many forms, and finding the approach that truly works for you is imperative. Sometimes the path forward is found through connection, responsibility, nature, animals, and learning how to offer yourself the same patience and care you give to others. Have hope. Your next chapter may be closer than you think. 🐴 Ready to understand the deeper patterns shaping your life? I’ve also found with my clients that I don’t like to send them to “group” therapy. I find it quite demeaning, troubling (as in clients often learn new often worse habits or patterns to partake in that they otherwise wouldn’t have learned), and unsuccessful when it comes to overall goals for life (both present and future healing). I love to incorporate other therapies such as animal therapy (like horse therapy as you had mentioned), and sensory therapies (such as zero sound water/tub therapy where the mind takes over to find ones true healing, or light yoga with sound wave therapy). Holistic modalities are truly the way to go in any situation, in my opinion, and expertise. I think that’s why we often communicate at the times when these things come up and we both have the same mindset on our professions! We are friends, but feel free to DM me if you ever want to talk sometime over zoom, phone etc. two minds are always better than one! 🩵
