The defying gravity vs Rachel was such a set up omg 😭 the song is less being able to hit the notes and more the power behind them. Idina cast as Rachel’s mother was like the best decision ever

I really just wish glee used Chris Colfer’s lower register more, they always had him singing so high. He has an impressive range but he sounds so much better singing when he isn’t right at the top of the range

Honestly, Kurt was top-tier, but the problem was that his voice got wasted on so many boring songs. Why did he have to sing nothing but Broadway tunes from a certain point on? To be honest, I thought he was better than Lea, too—especially considering how young the actor was. He was versatile; he could sing with others, hit both low and high notes, and really nail the song. But they deliberately gave him that kind of material—probably just so a certain other person could shine.Sorry not sorry

i’ll always glaze kurt’s singing bc the main reason so many ppl hate his voice is bc they forced him to sing so high all the time when that’s not what suited his voice the best. that boy had range, and the ppl on glee did not let him use it nearly enough
