@callmelolab: This wasn’t just another community event for me…this was home. 🤎 Eatonville isn’t just a town I visited. It’s my hometown. My dad, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all have roots here, and some of my favorite childhood memories were made in this community. I spent summers at Hungerford, my grandmother worked at the Zora Neale Hurston Museum, and one of the things that makes me most proud is that the Frances Jerry Community Park was named in honor of my great-grandmother and the legacy she left behind. Coming back with my own kids to experience the 1887 Market felt like a full-circle moment. We shopped with local vendors, listened to the DJ, enjoyed fresh lemonade, and I finally tried boudin balls for the first time…they definitely lived up to the hype! More than anything, I hope my kids grow up knowing where they come from and appreciating the community that helped shape our family for generations. Eatonville will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️ #eatonvillefl #orlandoevents
