I don’t mesh well with people like that either but mine is a little different. I like self sovereignty. If I see everybody else in the room is following 1 person, scared of 1 person, being dominated by 1 person. I quickly isolate myself from all that but not out of fear, out of pride cuz ain’t no mf running me! Ima be isolated as at peace but soon as they come my way try to dominate they find out quickly I’m not like them other ones!

Also some people just have strong personalities but both people need to work on that. Especially if it’s due to a trauma response. Both parties need to learn how to become more gentle bc it seems like there’s a power struggle and healthy connections should be gentle, easy going, filled with love and understanding.
