Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting the Vocational Training Institute for the Blind in Oshodi with ScanFrost as part of their CSR initiative to support the school with equipment that will make learning and daily life a little easier. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but I left with a heart so full. One thing that really stayed with me was realizing that many of the students weren’t born visually impaired. Some lost their sight later in life, and here they are, being equipped with the skills, confidence, and support to navigate the world with independence and dignity. I got to learn tie-and-dye from them, and in return, we cooked together using sound as our guide. It was such a beautiful reminder that learning goes both ways. Yesterday challenged me to think differently about impact. We often think of giving in one direction, but there are so many communities quietly doing incredible work that deserve to be seen, supported, and celebrated. A huge thank you to @Myscanfrost for intentionally investing in this school and creating opportunities that will have a lasting impact. I hope this inspires more of us to look beyond the obvious, show up where we’re needed, and use whatever platform or privilege we have to make a difference. Here’s a little glimpse into a day I’ll remember for a very long time. ❤️
