I think this sums it up - there was a minutes silence for Jayden Adams. At the England v Norway game, you could have heard a pin drop it was so silent. Switzerland fans remained silent but the Argentina fans chanted through it. I can say with certainty that if anyone of the European fans had have done it the team and the media would have called them out. It was radio silence from Argentina. Do we have racism in England? Yes. Does it look different to other countries because everyone has their own culture? Yes. Are most people not racist? I like to think so. Most English people are utterly ashamed of our colonising past and will happily admit that. Most people embrace other cultures, which one of the reasons it’s such a multicultural country.
