❤️What a wonderful post. I’m living in Europe (Denmark). We have nowhere near the problems they have in our neighbour countries like sweden or germany. Yesterday I Saw a travel TikTok from Bruxelles and Frankfurt. In comparison Denmark is a safe country. But then there is China. I really want to go to china and people consider me to be nuts. Amoung the arguments are words like “a tuff regime” and “all the chinese survaillance”. Strangely - London has one of the most CCTV equioment in Europe and the other mentioned cities are scaling CCTV. But - the difference is, it works in china. Crime rates are not declining do to CCTV in Europe. The question becomes “could it be mental approach to life by individuals that creates the differences in safety ?”. I dont have the answar but I have never seen a person from asia go crazy over something. Instead the keep thier words and thoughts to themself and move on. I have an assumption - it might be wrong - but its like asia is more grown up and act more mature and know what actually happens if releasing anger (the boomerang effect of karma). Yes I am very bias. I have the abs most respect and desire for china. However many problems in the west are created by own mindset. I dont believe the story of a regime forcing people to Think a certain way. If so, it would be even more controlled and crazy in the west leading to groups of people with different opinions…
