People don’t realize how much help she tried to get before. She was prescribed so many different antidepressants, anti anxiety medications leading up to her psychotic break.

I’m still wondering about the 13 psych meds that she was prescribed in 3 months?! Who was doing that and why?

What she did was inexcusable. But she was severely failed by the medical field.

For me a very important fact is that she attempted suicide. This was a full blown psychotic break. She should be institutionalized and treated.

The amount of medication she was on would literally kill me…. there’s absolutely NO way she was in her right state of mind.

Thank you to all of those working over time in the comments proving exactly why this is such a taboo subject for women and why they have the absolute hardest time asking for help

My ex went thru psychosis and it was like I was talking to another person. I have horrible ptsd from it. Nobody knows what it’s like unless you’ve gone through it. I don’t care what anyone says. My ex drove off a cliff due to his psychosis. He was in a mental hospital for months and didn’t even realize he did that

She was prescribed Zoloft, ambien, trazodone, seroquel, multiple benzodiazepines and called many times to get help and was denied. This is a sad story all around

Can we take note of the fact that rooming in decreases a moms ability to get sleep after she has just birthed a baby!! The mom is not allowed any rest. Do you know how much more peaceful it is if you have someone watching your baby making sure they are breathing while you get a restful 2-4 hours of sleep in between feedings!!! And don’t forget, moms after a CS had MAJOR surgery! Would you expect a man to go right back to work after he had his prostate surgically removed? No! But ifs okay for a woman to? Let’s start by supporting moms!

As a mom I used to not believe her claim, until I did a deep dive on how many times she asked for help, the meds she was being prescribed, and the fact she was to not be left alone and her husband ignored it. The system failed her. I’ve always said mental health isn’t an excuse to harm your children, there are signs before it gets to that point and get the help that’s needed. So the fact she did everything she could and no one listened really really makes me think this isn’t something she would have done if she hadn’t be in psychosis basically.

The father, the doctors, cps, close family were all at fault for leaving her along with those kids. None of this would of happened if she gotten the correct help and medication

doctors always say it takes 30 days for a new medication to fully kick in, the amount of medication they had her try in a span of a few months is sickening.

I think she was failed by her psychiatrists who gave her so many mad combinations of medications which all have individual side effects… why did they do that? 13????
