Ah yes, the blatant Israel allegory that the X-men were embodying and that ‘fans’ will fight to defend. Jonathan Hickman said from the very start that it was a bad idea, the countless compromises that every single X-men made without hesitation, that even Kieron Gillen who wrote the end of krakoa said that it was a doomed idea that wasn’t ever going to work. Krakoa prospered when it abandoned the X-men and chose to stay in the white hot room because it knew that they were categorically wrong. But sure, let’s keep going with the X-men being Israel for the fans.

This Israel discourse is so weird. First of krakoa did not have a native population unless you’d consider the Arakki mutants that. And when the arakki mutants did come back they were given a planet essentially a two state solution, without an ethnic cleansing. I get the world political climate has people drawing parallels. But to act like krakoa is remotely the same thing as Israel is a bit far fetched to me.
