some policies are just stupid! I honestly don't understand why they'd have to put her in handcuffs. I think every individual is different in situations and the situation doesn't seem like it would determine handcuffs are needed. This is probably what happens when you let agencies run law enforcement.

The fact that she said she was triggered lets me know she knows what to say in stressful situations & could possibly mean she knows how to use de-escalation strategies as well. Also, if she is a person with autism or not, she is making choices to act the way she is acting. And she does not have a boyfriend.
