So this can be taken out on f context by the way. Some could use this on purpose to twist it. Empathy and compassion are one thing but it’s about CHOICE if you decide someone you care about is worth comforting. Totally understandable context here. Emotional submission is where you feel that you must comfort anyone who is experiencing discomfort but that depends on what they feel uncomfortable about. For an example when a woman has experienced rape, and abuse, and one has the choice of showing empathy, compassion and maybe help her to find sources like therapy but that therapy is refined in matriarchal lenses where SHE can learn new ways and even learn self defense physical and mental etc. or even a man who experienced similar. And then those who are uncomfortable with someone else for an example a transgender person for existing and minding their own business that makes others uncomfortable, THEY should not have to emotionally submit and apparently from social media I see a lot of that and because they won’t submit it is stirs violence in other party. I’m using this as an examples.
