You either didn't read the comic or didn't understand what Manhattan said about it. He said that Superman is THE anchor being of every single universe, multiverse and macroverse in DC cosmology; his existence is needed for life to grow and evolve in each universe, without him everything is doomed to extinction. That's why Manhattan couldn't alterate his story like he did to other characters, because the nature of the universe itself forbids it. That's why even in the Absolute universe there's still a Superman that fights as a hero inspiring others, because even Darkseid understands the fact that if the Kryptonian doesn't exists then that universe is destined to be erased

Canonically Superman by default without holding back any power is world breaker hulk level he’s claimed many times if he were to simple to all and runs and do normal stuff he would obliterate his surroundings so that should tell u how powerful he is read his comics they will shock tf out of you on how powerful he actually is

Imagine a being able to do anything and see everything but the moment he seen an angry superman those future sight suddenly disappeared 😭. But if you finished this comic you will understand that he came into realization that superman is essential to the multiverse and he cannot be erased or removed. DUDE BECAME A REAL FAN OF SUPES.

there's no deeper meaning/scaling potential for superman, beyond the face value of what Manhattan said. This doesn't mean superman CAN destroy Manhattan. Only that Manhattan doesn't know what happened. This statement wouldn't scale superman anywhere
