HOW TO MAKE THE BEST TASTIEST PAKISTANI CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA RECIPE 😍🇵🇰😍🇵🇰!! Yes, they say chicken tikka masala is an Indian dish but the chef who invented it was British-Pakistani Ali Ahmed Aslam 🙃. Other accounts claim the dish has its roots in Pakistani Punjab. Also, don’t worry this recipe super easy, it doesn’t require any blending.  Since it’s a Pakistani curry, it will not be sweet, so we use black pepper instead of sugar. But most importantly, the oil must be cooked out till separated. INGREDIENTS: for the chicken tikka:  - 1 kg chicken thighs (chopped boneless skinless) - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp paprika - 1 tsp garam masala - 2 tbsp lemon juice for the curry base (sauce): - ⅓ to ½ cup ghee, not oil - 2 onions (diced) - 400g crushed tomatoes (or 1 can) - 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste - 1 ½ tbsp tomato paste (necessary) - 1 tsp salt - 1 ½ tsp pepper - 1 tsp chilli powder - 1 tsp paprika - 1 tsp garam masala - 1 tsp turmeric - ½ cup water - ½ cup double cream - 1 ½ tbsp Kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves) Set some coriander and cream aside for garnish. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Marinate the chicken with salt, paprika, garam masala, and lemon juice. Grill or bake till it gets some colour, it does not need to be cooked. 2. In a large pan, heat ghee over medium heat. Add diced onions and sauté until they become translucent. Add water if needed. 3. Stir in ginger garlic paste and cook for a couple of minutes until fragrant. 4. Add tomato paste, salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, garam masala, and turmeric to the pan. Cook out for 5 minutes.  5. Add the grilled chicken and crushed tomatoes, then simmer on low for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 6. Stir in double cream and Kasoori methi. Cook out till the oil separates, about 15 minutes. 7. Garnish with cream and coriander. 8. Enjoy!
