I have never understood why so many people don't seem to understand something very, very, very basic about merging. Your speed should be within 5 mph of the speed of the traffic you're merging into. If they're doing 70 mph, you don't merge at 50.

The bike was sitting in the trucks blind spot. Not saying the truck shouldn’t have looked but that’s the last place you want to be on a bike.

That red semi is definitely in the wrong. I don't know if he was merging to the other lane and didn't know how far ahead he was or what, but that was definitely his fault.

Some people dont understand that semi trucks can’t just slam on their breaks because of the stuff behind them, and even if they could/did, it would still take forever to come to a complete stop.

In the first clip the semi is at fault he could of tried to break but if you look at the bottom left it shows the mph and it did not go down and I know that it could be harder for semis to break but he could of least tried to

you know what's really sad. almost every collision a semi truck driver is in, is legally hid fault. when you get your CDL it is your job to know how to maneuver, and avoid crashes. you can loose or CDL if ANYBODY does anything. even if you get rear ended while going the speed limit. semi drivers fault. its sad. and stupid
