I find it heartbreaking but fascinating. I often wonder what exactly goes on in the mind of someone with dementia. My granddad had dementia, and he had a border collie cushion with loads of little border collie faces over it. One day he told my dad exactly which dog he trusts and which one had been saying bad things about him. It got me wondering if he was in his room talking to that cushion and the little collies 🥺
