When we’re young, we crave travel and adventure. What you want in life and what you have in life has changed since you qualified and that’s ok. With Mabel now being in school, that’s a lot more fixed than nursery or childminders so struggling to work around both kids needs is definitely understandable. Don’t focus on “but I work so hard to qualify”, focus on what you and your family want and need from you now x

I don’t have children but I felt the same after joining cabin crew and doing it for a couple years. For me it just didn’t work for me mentally and my personal life. It was hard to start again and I’m definitely not in my favourite job but I’m a lot happier x

I’ve got a little girl and I’m also cabin crew and honestly I was dreading going back but it was the best decision I made going back to work and you get back into the routine that although your away a lot your also home a lot more than a normal job

I left flying after having my daughter. It was so hard to quit a job I adored and worked so hard for, but like you the hours didn’t suit me anymore, and I was long haul so the thought of being away for her for days at a time didn’t sit right with me! Do what’s best for you and your family x
