If you ever went to the movie in summary. ( without technically spoiling it. ) half of the characters and half of the events of the Odyssey ( the book. NOT the musical sorry guys ) is not existent. To the point where you start to ask yourself. “ then why did it still take Odysseus 20 years to get back home? “

it's beautiful however I'm disappointed by how many scenes they cut off which was originally included in the Book. Epic set high standards, The Book gave me knowledge of how it goes, and the Movie now just idk

I feel like comparing Odyssey to The three live actions is a little disingenuous because they adapted the beloved thing but in this case the beloved thing and the live actions are both adaptations.
