I've only told a very few people I know what I do on Mother's Day. I feel comfortable saying it here bc no one knows me. The most Ive ever made in a year is a few thousand above poverty level but I'm great with money. On Mother's Day I take my daughter shopping and it's unlimited, she gets whatever she wants, price is no concern. It's my way of showing her how much I appreciate being her mom.

It’s not quite the same, but I’m a teacher in the U.K. and on their birthday, the kids have a tradition of bringing cupcakes for their class and I’ve always thought it was a lovely tradition
