@tinbobmakefood: Spanakopita recipe⬇️ if i was a lil fast HEH | prolly my fav 🇬🇷 dish :)) Ok this my first time making it tho so feel free to gimme advice or smth Ingredients -a kilo if spinach -another kilo of spinach -2 leeks -5 stalks of scallions -2 tbsp oil -a bit a salt -1 tsp cinnamon -1 tsp nutmeg -600g feta cheez -handful of parsely -handful of mint -handul of dill -2 EGG -shi ton oil -20 or more sheets of phyllo pastry How to make: -Blanch the spinach -squeeze out the water from the spinach -in a pan pour in like 2 tbso oil -saute the leeks and scallions till translucent -add a SMALL amount of salt(feta is alreadys salty) -chuck in the squeezed spinach -put in the cinnamon and nutmeg -put the suated veggies in a bowl -crumble in sum feta -chop up the herbs -place that in the bowl -add sum eggs -mix it all up homogeneously -in a dish brush on sum oil -layer in 10 ish layers of pastry at the bottom with oil in betw each sheet -add ur spinach feta mixture -layer on another 10 ish layers on top w oil in betw each sheet -make the top like a lil craggy iykwim so its ~aesthetic~ or sum shi like dat :) -divide it into squares by cutting, but not all the way down(cut through top pastry layer, the spinach misxture, but not the bottom yet) -bake it for like an hour at 180°C or 355°F -now let it rest for a lil while so you dont burn urself -remember those cuts you made??
