Stress doesn’t cause autoimmune disease, but chronic stress can influence inflammation, symptom burden, and flares in many people. That’s why therapy, nervous system regulation, sleep, movement, and healthy coping aren’t “just self-care”—they’re part of supporting your whole body alongside medical treatment. As someone currently navigating an undiagnosed autoimmune/inflammatory condition myself, this has become deeply personal.
