no. a2 goes through the overloads. almost always the neutral or 0v from power supply, depending on what you're using. in DC contactors you can't put your positive on a2. ac doesn't give a fuck, but this is just bad information.

I’ve always supplied control to A1, the exact opposite and literally every control panel and print I’ve used always have A1 hot exact opposite and much of the equipment is from other countries
