This is not helping, I promise. For concept: Grab a jumbo marker and drag a straight line across the length of a piece of paper. Next grab a fine point pen and drag a straight line across the length of the paper. Then look at both lines, because the jumbo marker line will 100% look more straight than the line made by the fine point. More mass gives more stabilization and control. Instead, your grip is what needs adjustment. Hold the brush closer to the bristles to establish better control

Get a good quality brush and give cutting in a go after watching some technique videos. Keep a bowl of water and a cloth nearby and quickly wipe off any paint that goes on the skirting. You’ll get the hang of it before you know it!
