@amandalyncuster: I used to take criticism personally… Now I take it as information. Every time someone doubted trading could work for a stay-at-home mom with no finance background, I got quieter and more consistent instead of louder. Every time someone said simple strategies couldn't compete with complex ones, I just kept showing up and trusting the process. Looking back, I think opposition was never actually a sign I was doing something wrong… It was a sign I was doing something different enough to notice. Nobody spends energy trying to discourage someone who isn't going anywhere. So these days, when the doubt gets loud, I don't shrink.
