I think they are not upset about the appointment, really, but are upset because they thought they could capitalize on the death to gain even a little more power in Washington. If the appointment has been in their favor, they never would have said a word.

so this whole video was just to say that the governor can appoint whoever he wants but wouldn't the people expect for him to appoint someone qualified to do the job until January do you think that the people's work has stopped because Lindsey Graham has passed away do the people of South Carolina not deserve a competent educated experienced person that knows the ins and outs of the Senate so that they can go into Washington with wheels on the ground
