You are infantilizing him. He's a grown adult with common sense. Whatever reason she put it in the fridge, it was still in the container. It has a smell, a taste, that does not smell or taste like food. He claimed he thought it was ice cream, in the fridge and not the freezer. If it was a child, I'd blame the woman for doing that. But he is a grown adult, he can figure out for himself what is and is not edible. If I can figure out that pepto bismol and glp1's in the fridge are not food, he can figure out that hair relaxer in the fridge is not food. Adults with common sense look at the labels of food they haven't seen in the fridge previously. The natural process of "oh whats this, let me pick it up and read the label" should be enough to prevent him from eating relaxer. If roles were reversed, the blame would still be on the woman. Clearly you are not well versed in the internet because a scenario like that would turn out the same. They would call a woman stupid for eating RELAXER IN THE FRIDGE! And so would I because it's a dumb thing for anyone to do.

So what are you trying to say?? that its fully the woman’s fault?? The situation and context is that the woman put leftover perm in the fridge for whatever reason, and the man just decided to eat it. Didn’t ask, didnt smell, didnt read a single label, just ate it. Ignoring the ignorance and stupidity of the man for not having common sense, Why can’t he have asked his wife if he could eat it?? Think of it like this, imagine it wasnt perm or anything dangerous, maybe it was just some leftover ice cream that the wife was hoping to have later. Not only is it rude and disrespectful to go out of ur way to just eat those leftovers without asking or considering your wifes feelings, its also just dumb. The main issue it the lack of COMMUNICATION!!!! your not wrong for thinking the woman could have added labels or talked to him, but again thinking of the context, the label was already there. 😭 Her husband is a grown ass man not a baby or child?? Also, of course its known to put food in a fridge, but there are other things that go into fridges that shouldn’t just be eaten without caution!!! Baking soda is a great example of something that is considered a chemical that can be put in a fridge and is for many people! In pretty sure from reading your comments that most people are using the terms of woman and man IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SITUATION!!! You clearly are fighting tooth and nail as well? A 3 part video? Its not that we are pressed about people eating food in fridges, its that its common courtesy to ask! If you just decide to eat whatevers in the fridge of anyones house, your completely ignoring everyone elses feelings and situations. just go back to my example of something leftover ice cream, what if you’re having a horrible day and all you have left is your favorite left over ice cream, it would probably ruin my day even more if my husband, who is supposed to be there for me and love me, just eats my ice cream without asking or considering me at all!!!!!!!! All im trying to get at is that its not fair to place the blame SOLELY on the woman when the man was clearly more at fault here! Both parties could have and should have been more careful, more so the man!

my grandma puts different things in the fridge like sugar water or food for animals outside and i know not to touch random stuff in my fridge and eat it just because it’s in my fridge that’s “for food” like you say.

Why are we hoes????? Perms go into the refrigerator to be kept fresh. Medicine goes in the fridge, people put baking soda in the fridge, face masks go in the fridge, some people put bras and jeans in their fridge like its not of the ordinary for non consumable things to be in the fridge. That man saw it, didn't read it and thought it was caramel. Hello, he ate that because he thought it was hers and that she had a sweet treat only for herself so he ate it. It goes both ways, if she saw something that she thought was his sweet treat and it turned out to be his hair chemical and ate it, I would think and say the same thing. The perm has a particular smell. Like what's not clicking.
