It’s cuz rifles are more consistent, you will average more kills if u use a rifle over shotgun. Shotguns are supposed to be used when the enemy team doesn’t expect it.

If you just be ratting in a corner with a shotgun, it’s 0 skill, if you use it aggressively like push into people with it it’s skill. My shotguns don’t work though, they hit every single toe on the enemy and the enemies survive

it's because on not every agent u can use it for example in why would u use it it's throwing away your life as arguably the most important role on the team also it doesn't make sense to use on most of the agents cause if it comes down to a retake most of agent can't do anything
