But what if a man genuinely gives his best in every way? What if he is loving, generous, attentive, supportive, makes me feel safe, and I know I can come to him with anything? What if he chooses me and brings a lot of value into my life — but his nervous system simply doesn’t feel compatible with mine? For example, he talks very fast, brings a lot of energy into every interaction, talks intensely about many different topics, and I end up feeling drained and exhausted after every meeting. He may be a wonderful man and check so many boxes, but if being around him constantly overwhelms my nervous system, does that mean he is simply not the right person for me?
