@truly.ese: Ep. 1 - Camera Settings. Which fps do you like to use when shooting? Edit: I forgot to mention 24 fps is what I use for cinematic. 24 fps alone is not what gives you the blurred background. You must use both on your iPhone. 🎥: iPhone 17 pro max Edited: Capcut #phonevideography #contenttips
And when we really think about it...these phones ARE just as expensive as the cameras!

Hi, professional photographer here for 15 years… Frames per second have absolutely nothing to do with the blurry background. The blurry background is called the depth of field and is controlled by your aperture, which is how much light comes into your lens. Also known as the F stop so if you're shooting at a lower F stop, you're actually letting in more light, which is going to give you more of a blur. When you're shooting at a higher F stop you are letting in less light and more things around. You will be in focus. On the iPhone, this is controlled in portrait mode.

24 fps has essentially nothing to do with depth of field.🤣😂. 24 fps changes motion rendering, not depth of field.

As a photographer/ videographer frame rate or fps has nothing to do with depth of field. Dof comes from the a low f-stop such as f2.8, f1.8 etc.

Aperture gives the blurry background not the frame rate. That affects the motion blur. Social media wants 30fps. If you record in 24 it will upscale it to 30 and it won’t be as sharp. Good tips otherwise.
