@Chappie: The starboard steam accumulator is the major apparatus used in launching aircraft of catapult #1. 60-70 gallons of water heated at over 800 degrees/600 psi was released to launch an aircraft off the flight deck in 250 ft at 180 knots in 2-3 seconds.
