@rewirewithmilli: ever asked yourself why traders from every age, culture, income level and educational background all struggle with fomo, revenge trading and overtrading? well i did, and here's what i realised. traders come from completely different lives; some have multiple degrees or run successful businesses, some have six figures sitting in the bank, while others are trading from their childhood bedroom with the last money they can afford to lose. and yet somehow they all end up struggling with the exact same things: fomo, revenge trading, oversizing, moving stops, cutting winners too early, holding losers too long, entering without a setup... but why? how can people with such completely different backgrounds all end up making the same mistakes? the answer turned out to be a lot simpler than i expected. every trader lives inside a human body, which means every trader is operating with a human brain, a human nervous system, a human reward system and a human fight-or-flight response, no matter where they come from or what their story is. humans were not built for trading. your brain evolved to keep you alive, so it's constantly scanning for threats, chasing rewards, avoiding pain and trying to create a sense of safety, and the market ends up triggering all of that at once. when a trade moves into the red, your brain can interpret it as a genuine threat, which raises your stress levels and makes it a lot harder to think clearly. the same thing happens with dopamine, because the moment a setup starts forming, your brain is already anticipating the reward, and once the trade closes that stimulation disappears just as fast as it came. that's usually what creates the urge to jump straight into another trade, even when there's no real setup there. none of that changes based on education, intelligence, age, culture or income. intelligence doesn't switch off the amygdala, money in the bank doesn't shut down the dopamine system, and a university degree doesn't stop your nervous system from slipping into survival mode. every trader is still running on the same ancient biology, inside an environment built around fast-moving charts, instant wins and losses, prop firm metrics and endless cheap dopamine. that's really the connection here. traders come from completely different worlds, but underneath all of that, they're still human, and the market interacts with the same survival, reward and stress systems in every single one of them. most traders try to fix this in the wrong place, searching for a better strategy, a new indicator, another mentor or just more discipline, while completely ignoring the body that's actually executing the plan. and as long as you keep treating your biology like it doesn't matter, you'll keep fighting reactions that are faster and stronger than conscious thought ever will be. that's exactly how so many smart, capable, educated people still end up as part of the 90% who fail. #daytrading #tradingtips #propfirms #tradingstrategy #howtotrade
