It is not plagiarism or theft. The message from Adam (peace be upon him) to Muhammad (peace be upon him), and all the prophets in between, was the same: the worship of one Creator alone. The form of worship, including prayer, and the divine laws were fundamentally the same. Unfortunately, many people did not remain faithful to that message. The Jews introduced loopholes and distorted the message of their prophet. Christians fell into idolatry (shirk) by turning their prophet into God. Muslims, too, have experienced deviations through divisions into sects and misinterpretations. However, despite these deviations, the core belief in the same one Creator has remained the same.
