@yume.bakery: 109 days until spooky season 🎃 For the black dough: * 500 g flour (bread or all-purpose) * 300 ml lukewarm water * 20 g fresh yeast or 1 packet dry yeast * 1½ tsp salt * 1 tsp sugar * 3 tbsp olive oil * 2–3 tbsp black food coloring Toppings: * Tomato sauce (passata or pizza sauce) * Grated mozzarella or pizza cheese * 200–300 g mushrooms (button mushrooms) * Optional: Parmesan or Gouda 1. Mix water and sugar, add yeast and let sit 10 minutes (foam = good!) 2. In a bowl, add flour, salt and black food coloring. 3. Pour in yeast-water and olive oil. 4. Knead 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. 5. Let rise 1 hour in a warm place. 6. Slice mushrooms. 7. Use a small knife or food cutter to carve: * two eye holes * one small nose hole * optionally short cuts for “teeth” 8. Set aside, they will look like skulls after baking. 9. Preheat oven to 250 °C / 480 °F. 10. Roll out the black dough on a tray. 11. Spread tomato sauce. 12. Add cheese all over the pizza. 13. Place the skull mushrooms on top. 14.
