@doinglifewithsammymain: Currently dealing with what feels like an adenomyosis flare-up. 🤍 For anyone who doesn’t know, adenomyosis is when tissue that should only line the inside of the womb grows into the muscle of the womb. That tissue still responds to hormones every month, which can cause inflammation, swelling and painful cramps. For me, that can mean feeling incredibly bloated, like my stomach has doubled in size, with pelvic pain that makes even simple things feel exhausting. Some days it’s just uncomfortable, other days it completely wipes me out. I’m still waiting for my procedure before moving forward with IVF, so right now it’s about managing the symptoms and reminding myself that this flare-up won’t last forever.
