but in modern reality those who love japan and its culture is Chinese citizens. and even in traditional culture import and export are bi-direction. if you're familiar with the history of pre-modern of china, you would find many many bi-character words are from Japanese especially in politics, economy etc. that is because japanese translators 160 years ago converted many western ideas to kanji with a lot of wisdom. the Chinese later directly imported these two-characters to Chinese with almost no modifications. even nowadays many Chinese words are from Japanese: 写真、達人、人気、進撃, etc. because Chinese and Japanese share the same hanzi/kanji system.
