I’ve been hearing a lot about IAM roles recently. I’m currently IT Support for a company and I am going to school For Cloud Computing and Network Engineering do you think IAM is a good crossover once I get more experience in my Support role and more projects done ? How have you been liking it ?

I appreciate your video however this is not the case with what the field is. When one says you HAVE to go help desk, tech support etc it’s just not the one end all be all. EVERYONE in IT does security. Once they wear that hat then it all clicks. Each category has its own initial level. Help desk tech doesn’t always need to go to a SOC or NOC role. it’s just not the only way
