Today at 7:00 a.m., I lost my baby, my best friend, my whole world. 💔 Moana had congestive heart failure. Since the day she was diagnosed on 11/18/2025, I promised I would do everything I could to give her the happiest life possible. We fought together every single day. Every medication, every vet visit, every sleepless night, every prayer—I did it all because I loved her more than words can say. The last few days, she changed. Yesterday she seemed so tired. Last night, before I fell asleep, she came into my room, gave me gentle kisses on my face and eyes while I was crying, looked at me for a few minutes, and then quietly walked to the bathroom. I didn’t know those would be her final kisses. I’m so sorry, Moana. I wish I could have taken away your pain. I wish love alone could have saved you. Run free now, my beautiful girl. No more pain. No more struggling to breathe. Thank you for choosing me to be your mom. You took a piece of my heart with you today, and I don’t know how to live without you. Until we meet again, my sweet Moana. I will love you forever. 🐾🌈❤️

My dog will be 11 in Aug, she started panting all the time about 2 months ago. The vet said there’s no hear murmur and her lungs sound good. It kills me to think she could be in pain. Pain meds for her arthritis gave her diarrhea (all day) so we had to stop that

Our Bella went to the vets for the last time yesterday. Just a few weeks from the grand old age of 17. Had he her since she was a month old. Found her dumped behind a wall in Crete.

My baby had bone cancer and on Sunday she went to heaven. I miss my girl so much she was the sweetest baby. This was one of this biggest reasons we let her be pain free. She panted to much, very shallow breathing, couldn’t walk very well, she couldn’t control her bladder when she stood up, everytime she went outside she would walk a few steps lay down, walk a few then lay down. Even inside she did that. She didn’t play, the only thing that was keeping us from putting her to peace was because she ate and drank. But it wasn’t just that it was because me loved her so much

thank you for posting this 🫶🏿... my life literally revolves around my 15 and a half year old doggo right now. he's had incontinence for about a year now and has been on diapers. he still eats and drinks normally but I know that isn't enough to tell me he's still happy here. a couple weeks ago he gave us "the look" and top that with restless nights, random panting, we knew he was in too much pain so we booked a final appointment with our vet for confirmation we're doing the right thing. he told us to try paij meds (gabapentin) and if he reacts well, we have a bit more time with him so we tried it. he has life back in his eyes, enjoys the little things again but randomly still pants after a week of the pain management. he also has high liver values and he was anemic so we scheduled a follow up blood test today to see what this baseline is now. everyday I'm thinking, "has he had enough?" 🥺

Our 13.5 yr old lab goes to rainbow bridge tmw. His arthritis has made his back legs weaker now and he’s panting a lot. We don’t want his legs to go so doing the kindest thing for him that we can ❤️

We found out 2 weeks ago my dog had a larger tumour in her bladder and the cancer had spread to her kidneys and lymph nodes. 10 days after we found out she started weeing pure blood and panting all the time, different to a pant when she’s hot. I knew it was time to say goodbye to her

My dog only pants hard when she gets up. But resting she is fine. She’s a bouvier and turned 13 in may. She does have arthritis. I can’t loose her right now. I just lost my dad two weeks ago she’s my rock.

we thought our dog had dislocated her shoulder, she was put on metcam and crate rest for 10 days , her panting was extreme , turned out to be a tumour and she had to be put to sleep. It went from 0-100 real quick and she was gone! It was so unexpected!

My girl Matti. A blue heeler. I miss her all tome. She lived for 15.5 years. Her spirit was willing but her body was giving out. Deaf, kidneys going and her Arthritis was over taking her. She passed with help over the rainbow bridge in 2007.

My dog was on high dose of prednisone with his lymphoma end of life care. The prednisone made him pant so idk if he was in pain or it was the prednisone. This has me thinking now 🥺
