l believe that talent and success can be among the greatest reasons for the failure of relationship between partners, because the equation of life contradict the mathematical equation :1+1 must equal 1, Each partner must relinquish some of their talents and successes to unite and withstand life's challenges. And it doesn't end there, when they have children they must relinquish even more talents and successes until the sum equals 1; 1+1+1+...=1 . Nothing is more detrimental to a relationship than selfishness and clinging to talents and successes. Love between partners is not tested before getting to know each other, but usually after commitment and attachement...So if someone wants to hold onto their talents and successes , they shouldn't enter into a long-term relationship like marriage...
