Buy smart bulbs with a phone app! My Phillips Hue bulbs are the best I've found. Cheap ones tend to crash a lot.

Phillips hue lights!!! I set my location so that my lights turn on when I get home and when I leave! The app is user friendly and they have so many fun options

Overhead lights are satan and always keep a small desk lamp near the entryway where you want easy visibility, so that if your WiFi cuts out …. You can still function.

Buy an Alexa plug. Get it on Amazon - you’ll need an echo or pod from there. You add the plug and it walks you through it all on the app. I walk in and say “Alexa turn on the bedroom light” and it turns on my lamp with the Edison bulb. Low light my girl.

I use Govee bulbs for everything and have them set to turn themselves on at 3 everyday. But I can also say "Alexa, turn on the living room lights" and turn them on/off whenever. DM Me for more specifics!!

Girl, just go buy smart light bulbs. You can put them in your recessed lights, or lamps. Keep the main switch on the wall or lamp on, control it with your phone. Phillips, or Wiz.

Well if you're me, you move into a house where for some reason, instead of installing lights, they installed light switches that control the upper plug of all the light switches in the room. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Any lamps in our house have an Amazon bulb (they’re also color changing bulbs) and we just ask Alexa to turn on a specific light or group of lights.

Get the Philip Hue smart bulbs and bridge. The bridge connects to your WiFi and the bulbs. You can do all sorts of colors and settings. You can buy individual bulbs or they have some lamps and back lighting options

we just have little lamps in every room that stay on 24/7. has the sun goes down it just gets darker in the house but we can still see

Get smart outlets and an Alexa echo dot! I have my bedroom turn on automatically at 5pm and my candle warmer starts at 8am before my lights turn on at 8:30am. So I wake up to good smells and lights if I snoozed my 8:20 alarm.

We don’t like smart home stuff, so we got something that plugs in to the outlet/lamp and then the switch is attached to the wall (I’ll put the link in the next comment for copy/paste)

You don't need smart home lights, you can just buy light bulbs that come with a remote, set them on dim, and they stay that way when you turn them on

The big light is only for being able to find the lamp. And the lamp has three settings and has a charger built in.
