@zeezee25: ad | how i manage my chronic illness while moving house! ⭐️🏠 i use lots of different tools to adapt my life (one being my wheelchair) but my Visible band has been really useful over the past 2 years seeing data is helpful to gauge where my limits are (hello to the other autistic disabled people who don’t know their own cues) and prevent myself from over-exerting i did end up crashing after this, but i could prepare for this and see over time how my body responded to rest, meaning i bounced back quicker than i would have in the past! 💛 do you guys have any other disability adaptions you use? 👀 @visible.health #disabledcommunity #chronicillness #pacing #spoonie #movingout

Dear Zara, I know this isn’t really about your video, but I saw there weren’t many comments yet, and I thought I might have a better chance of you seeing this. I just wanted to tell you how much you’ve helped me. I’m 12 years old, and I think I have tics, but they’re still undiagnosed. It can be really confusing and lonely because I don’t always understand what’s happening, and my parents don’t really get what it feels like. I know they care about me, but it’s hard when the people around me don’t fully understand something I can’t control. Finding your videos changed so much for me. Seeing you talk openly about Tourette syndrome and share your experiences made me feel understood for the first time. Even though we’ve never met, it feels like you understand what it’s like to live with tics in a way that not many people do. Your videos have helped me feel less alone, given me hope, and reminded me that I don’t have to be ashamed of something I can’t control. On the hard days, your videos make me smile and remind me that I’m not the only one going through this. You’ve given me comfort, confidence, and the courage to keep being myself while I’m still trying to understand what’s happening. Thank you for being so honest, kind, and inspiring. Just by being yourself, you’ve helped a 12-year-old girl feel seen, understood, and a little less scared. I don’t think you’ll ever know how much of a difference you’ve made in my life, but I’m so grateful for you. Thank you for everything.
