Amen. Guys want a good women until they realize the woman they are dating actually have standards and won’t settle for any of their half effort BS. I was single for 4 years beside I decided to get back into dating and I just signed up for a dating site/app 3.5 weeks ago. When I signed up for it I told myself I’m not going to settle for anything less than I deserve. Talked to a few guys (5 guys maybe) before matching with the current guy I have been talking to for 3 weeks consistently and he honestly treats me like the queen I am. We are still in the talking phase but in the last 3 weeks we have hard/uncomfortable conversations, been asking each other questions to get to know each other better, and saying how much we appreciate each other. He even texts me randomly throughout the days just to check in on me to see how I’m doing sometimes. It’s small stuff we are both doing to show how much we care about each other and working towards building an actual relationship with each other. Hoever it is the small stuff we are doing to show that we care and that we want to make things work between us that mean the world to both of us. Point is it really doesn’t take much for a man to show a woman he really cares about her but the men who are still stuck in a childlike mindset will think us women are asking for too much.
