that's so cool. I love rusty colors. I found one that I like called Terracotta by Sephora. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the color. I really don't understand why it's not common to lean towards brick color in red lipsticks. I think it's the most beautiful version of red.

Lipstick was the focal point of the makeup/face in the 90’s trends, which is why I think the pigment was so much better then. 80’s it was blush and eyes. Fast forward to modern times all varieties of makeup up (from foundation to shadows to blush to eyes and last but not least lips) are all competing for the spotlight and are highly pigmented as formulas improved over time.

Do you remember the Trucco Powder Lip? It was like 5 lip powder shades and came with a gloss overlay. Trucco also had a lipstick gloss black honey dupe but it lasted all day too! Oh I miss this!

Trucco, by Sebastian, was ELITE back in the late 80's/90's! I was a makeup artist back then and still have a few tubes, my favorite was the blood red. It stayed on well, until you kissed someone.....they stayed "kissed" 😅
