Everybody giving the dispatcher a hard time has probably never had to take an emergency call….dude got the basic information and sent first responders. What else was he supposed to do sing a song? People are weird behind keyboards from the comfort of their couch🤣

The 911 operator could have comforter her and gave her some instructions. Asked her what type of bear and told her how to act. If it’s a grizzly she should stop talking and act dead and cover her face. He’s doing nothing to try to help.

For people saying the dispatcher did terrible and didn’t give comfort he actually did a excellent job he lowered his voice and didn’t ask a lot of questions because that would make her answer and talk and that would aggravate the best.

If you live in a rural area and need an animal to protect you against predators, get a few donkeys 🫏 They’ll do a lot better job than dogs.

This was in 2016. She survived thank goodness!! Her and the operator were very smart in this situation! That black bear was protecting her cubs near by!
