Well done chief. both actually uses SMPS technology but one is designed and calibrated specifically to deliver Constant Volts and constant current supply which is ideal for lithium batteries of that configuration and at the other hand, the other one has no current limiting capacity cos it’s designed for devices with regulated current demand unlike lithium batteries

why is the first one not a suitable charger. You mentioned that the BMS does the cut off when the battery gets to full charge; so is the problem then? Will it help to have a 14v 5amps laptop charger?

He's absolutely right, some people can't tell the difference. DIY must learn also, instead of using lead acid battery charger for lithium battery charger.
