You spray today. You spray again next week. But somehow, the insects are still alive. Here's the mistake many farmers make. They think changing the brand means changing the insecticide. It doesn't. What matters is the active ingredient. That's the chemical that actually kills the insect. Then there's the mode of action. That's simply how that chemical kills the pest. If you keep using insecticides with the same mode of action repeatedly, the insects can become resistant. At that point, it doesn't matter how expensive the product is, it won't work like it used to. So stop rotating brands. Start rotating modes of action.
