i would say it's because of the conditioning of fear from religious communities like Christians or other abrahamic faiths, because you usually don't see people of other belief systems fear these things

For me it’s because it comes with a feeling of responsibility if it’s a good vision what if I can’t achieve this ideal outcome and if it’s a bad vision, what if I can’t stop this bad outcome which I know goes against visions as a whole with the whole idea of they’ll come true no matter what but I’m a bit of a perfectionist
