How are we getting cards to places we don’t live? Do they allow for outside people?!

Chicago! don't need proof, I used the Shameless house's address 😂 there's also a site I saw on here where you can see what sister branches your library has and add all of those I just can't remember what it's called

Cincinnati Public Library is the GOAT! They always have what I want, they order tons of copies and add extra copies when titles look popular. They give Hoopla access and have a 21 day loan length. Legendary!

I love the Seattle Public Library Books Unbanned Libby Card! Nearly always has what I’m looking for. Best part is, don’t even live in Seattle! You can get a free library card as long as you are under the age of 27!

I used someone's address for Clark County/Las Vegas 👀 it's the best card I have, 50 loans and almost always has what I'm looking for without wait times

I have 23 cards but I don’t pay attention to which library they go to. I just look for the book and choose the lowest wait times

my favorite is my home library, the Broward County Library. the selection is good and there are long hold times for some books but I almost always find what I need (and since it's my home library I can do inter library loan for any books they don't have).

Any Ohioans in here should also strongly consider grabbing a Clevnet card, a Youngstown/Mahoning County card, an Akron Public Library card, and a Cincinnati card! It’s free for Ohio residents and these systems all have great selections!

I don’t understand if I need to search under each card or does it do so automatically? I hope I explained that right. lol

Broward county has short wait times. Cost $ 30. A year but well worth it.

As an Ohio and New York “resident”, I agree with this list. My Ohio library cards get far more use on Libby than my New York ones
