You play as Bayonetta, an Umbra Witch who wakes up after 500 years with no memory of her past. Between angels, ancient clans and oversized bosses, the story never really slows down and somehow keeps getting more insane. The combat is what made the game legendary. Every dodge, combo and weapon feels rewarding, and Witch Time completely changes the rhythm of every fight. It’s one of those games where the more you play, the better it gets. The PS3 port had its flaws, but the game underneath was simply too good to ignore.
