I did accutane 3 different times: lanolin. Lanolin. Lanolin. There’s simply no other answer. I like lanolips but anything with lanolin I used to use nipple cream when it was real bad

I just don’t know if I actually agree with this, even though I know this is supposed to be coming from a scientific standpoint. But I have been using Aquaphor for the past four years and it is the only thing that keeps my lips moisturized.

yup! It’s an occlusive so it will lock in any moisture/hydration currently in the skin preventing transepidermal water loss. Some formulas of aquaphor do have shea butter and other ingredients to add moisturizing factors, so it’s not an across the board statement since they have different products (: when i’m using aquaphor, I always like to apply a hydrator first and then you’ll get great benefits!

Okay, from my understanding Vaseline (pure petroleum) doesn’t add any moisture, it’s just a sealant, but aquaphor is only part petroleum and does have additives like lanolin, glycerin, and mineral oil that adds some moisture as well as seals
