my boss did that to me once. changed my schedule at 2am, and scheduled me to come in at 7am that same day. then gave me a write up for not showing up! I got the entire HR department involved in that one

I don't understand these managers who change your schedule without asking if you can work that shift, or even telling you you have a new or different shift, and expect you to somehow just know?? most employees are not constantly checking and re-checking their schedules to watch for changes like that.

went into work one day and was asked “why weren’t you here yesterday?” they added me to the schedule without telling/asking me. thankfully we had a printed schedule in the breakroom that could prove that i wasn’t originally scheduled 😁

This happened to me like 25 years ago at subway. Our only schedule was the paper ones in the back. Like how am I supposed to know my schedule was changed if you don’t call me to tell me it changed. After that I bugged my manager and called every single day to check my schedule till I got a new job

An old job would have a physically schedule at the store. So we check it when it comes out. Well I’m not scheduled for a few days but within those days they changed the schedule and called me to see where I was. How would I know the schedule changed, if I was never in the building the see the schedule change. They expect us to come in everyday just to make sure they didn’t change anything I guess
